SICICLA ecotourism
Bike Tours Agency based in Palermo and operating throughout Sicily. Sicicla is a dynamic and young tour operator specialized in cycle tourism, hiking and ecotourism. It is the result of the passion for sweet mobility and of two founding members’ desire to spread the knowledge of less well-known roads of the island territory, the ones suitable for cyclotourism.
The company has a brand new fleet of more than 100 quality bikes of prestigious Italian brand, divided into various types (city bikes, tour bikes, electric bicycle, pedal assist MTBs) that are intended for hire, guided excursion and slow tourist travels along the streets of Sicily – an ideal location thanks to its mild climate – where it is possible to ride a bike for almost 365 days a year. Sicicla’s action is guaranteed throughout the regional territory thanks to a nine-seater minivan and a bicycle rack (with a repair shop on-board), able to transport up to 30 bikes. Each proposed bike can be equipped with side bags and baby carrier supports; Sicicla provides every customer with protective helmet and safety equipment in order to permit to pedal in absolute safety. The paths are meticulously examined to guarantee total travel enjoyment, involving all the five senses.

Incoming Tour operator based in Catania, conceived as a tool to tell the Sicily. Thanks to long-term and diversified experience, to the obvious tourist vocation for group travel there is added a specific ability to realize any kind of “nature” or “thematic” program. Freefly Tour follows customers, with assistance, throughout the trip, with on-site staff, whose expertise is available to customers in the most advantageous way possible. In addition to tours on the island it offers seaside stays, Fly & Drive, guided tours and meetings with local communities. The operator also collaborates with numerous organizations related to nature tourism, trekking, biking and en plein air tourism in the Etna area.
