The Masseria San Giovanni belongs to the Barons Sgadari Lo Monaco. It is located on the Madonie in the heart of the Sicilian countryside between Palermo and Catania.
It is a feudal mansion dating from the 17th century, consisting of several houses with three inner courtyards and an garden with Italian labyrinth of 1700. A part of it has recently been restructured for tourist purposes by Maria Antonietta Sgadari.
In the old warehouses were built apartments – suites – in cottages, with front patio for exclusive use, and bedrooms equipped with every comfort, as well as a dining room for guests who can offer a catering service with quality products and recipes of the old Sicilian culinary tradition.
Outside you can enjoy ample spaces and a panoramic swimming pool, from which you enjoy a wide view of the beautiful valley, the woods and the river Salso, in front of the small villages whose entire surrounding area is dotted with.
The enchanting and uncontaminated landscape and refined elegance of the restructurings, immerse the visitor in the charming and fascinating atmosphere of aristocratic country residences, which still retain all their ancient rurality.
The company has in organic farming for over 10 years and produces: extra virgin olive oil, grain, wine, vegetables and fruit, homemade jams.
